I have emotional needs well within reason, and aren't being met. I have a girlfriend, and yet I really don't. I understand what you're going through. But I don't wanna feel unwanted. I wanna feel everyday that you think of me. I wanna be with someone who really wants to care for me. I wanna be with her, who really wants me. You must know I deserve more. Something good came along, but you're still unhappy. What's a simple girl like me to do? I just want you to be happy. But I want the same for me too. I was surprised you'd want me to yourself. A Lesson on Evangelization versus Religious Discrimination
I walked in the office today while there was some major discussion among my coworkers about evolution versus the Genesis creation story. One said, "Genesis is not real because anyone with common sense knows that evolution is a fact." The other pointed out that evolution is not real because we were created in the image and likeness of God (not in the image and likeness of monkeys). Honestly, no one really knows except the Maker of the universe. Bottom line is there is no winning with these types of arguments. I'm glad I wasn't in that room when it all started. I just knew I wasn't going to hear the end of it. So I just said, "We are all entitled to our beliefs, and the workplace is certainly not the place to discuss them." Whatever happened to Lingkod's slogan, "Evangelizing the workplace"? Reason says, "Welcome to the United States."

Hurtful words flung, cannot retract.
Change promised, forgave many times.
Love restored, wounded heart mended.
Then love turns sweeter for a time.
Many things written, emotions overwhelm.
Receiving and giving unconditional love.
But it happens once again. Trust is broken.
Twice painful. What for and why?
Undo the times you treat me wrong.
Undo my mind, so I won't remember.
Undo the many hurts, for I never learned.
Undo the words I don't deserve.
Undo the plans of a future together.
Once you already let me go, for sure...
No, you won't fight for me tomorrow.
I'll set up the barrier, and make it strong.
Then I will love me till the pain's all gone.
